See What Our Guests Have to Say

“Spent a week at Mina Verde with friends and family and I had a blast. The amenities were excellent and the view was breathtaking. You really can’t even do it justice with a camera. I’ve stayed at hotels in Manuel Antonio and a house in Dominical that were great but nothing like Mina Verde. They just can’t compete with a personal playground on top of a freakin mountain. I hesitated slightly before writing this review because I selfishly didn’t want someone else to get my time slot for when we book another stay this summer. Do yourself a favor and go to Mina Verde. Just leave the last week of August for me. Pura vida!”

“I’m a wellness professional and hosted a small retreat for my clients at Mina Verde a month ago. It was an incredible week in the jungle and the staff at Mina Verde made everything easy. The location is perfect to access Manuel Antonio as well as Uvita. There are multiple waterfalls, whitewater rafting, ATV tours, mangroves, and great surf beaches all close by. This is an excellent location to access everything the southern region has to offer! Great place to disconnect from stress and tune into nature.”

“What an incredibly magical place to stay and get away from it all! Perched on top of a mountain in the jungle, facing the ocean and unbelievable sunset views, will have you wanting to stay and never leave. The authentically Costa Rican style cabanas are very spacious with a kitchenet, seating area, and an AC cooled bedroom with full bathroom area to cool down or just have an amazingly cool rest without that sweaty jungle feel. Wake up early and you will catch views of monkeys, toucans, parrots, whales, and you might even catch a glimpse of a jaguar if you’re lucky! There is even a small soaking pool with a large deck facing the ocean views as well as a natural waterfall pool to have a super cool jungle swimming experience. Cooking and groceries are easy to do with their “soda bar and kitchen” area where you can keep your food in a full size fridge & also cook on the grill or stove burners. They also have a large laundry room with common space bathrooms attached to make laundry a breeze as well as a great place for guest to use the restroom without entering your private cabana. To top it all off, it’s just a short 5 min car ride to pristine beaches backed up to thick jungle, creating an unmatched private beach feeling on Matapalo Beach. If you’re wanting to go on a short adventure, there are amazing waterfalls and also the chill surf town of Dominical just 15 minuets down the road for great food, surfing , and adventures! With ALL these amazing things to see and do, you simply cant get any better than this!! This place is a must if you are headed to southern Costa Rica!! Pura Vida!“
